REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bids are legally binding. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser. By registering and bidding, you agree to complete payment for all items won. The auctioneer’s decisions on all matters is final.
PROVENANCE & AUTHENTICITY: All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no warranties or guarantees. Kidd Family Auctions makes no claims regarding provenance or authenticity. While descriptions are believed to be accurate, they are not guaranteed and are provided as statements of opinion only. All sales are final—no exchanges or refunds. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or withdraw any item at any time.
Bidders are responsible for inspecting items and determining suitability prior to bidding. Due to the prevalence of reproductions and forgeries, Kidd Family Auctions cannot guarantee authenticity, markings, or signatures. Catalog descriptions may contain errors. Kidd Family Auctions assumes no liability for errors or omissions, and bidders agree that no claims, disputes, or legal action will be made regarding authenticity or condition.
RESERVES: A few items may carry a reserve. Consignors are not authorized to bid on their own items nor have someone bid on their behalf. We reserve the right to withdraw items or bids from any consignor in violation of this policy.
REGISTRATION: By registering, you consent to receive marketing communications (i.e. text message & email advertisement) from Kidd Family Auctions. You may unsubscribe at any time. By registering and placing a bid, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and are entering into a legally binding contract. All bids are binding, and you agree to complete payment for all items won.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: Acceptable forms of payment include cash, debit, EMT (e-transfer), and credit card (3% processing fee applies). At the conclusion of the sale, invoices will be sent, and payment is due immediately following. If you choose to pay by e-transfer, please send to Lyn@KiddFamilyAuctions.com. If e-transfer is not received by noon on pickup day, the credit card that bidders registered with will be charged. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable. The Buyer's Premium of 5% applies to all purchases.
CONSIGNOR PURCHASES: If a consignor is the highest bidder on a lot in the auction, the purchase amount will be deducted from their consignor proceeds. No separate payment is required.
U.S. BIDDERS: Due to U.S. postal tariffs (effective Sept 2025), we are unable to ship to the United States. If a U.S. bidder wins an item, payment is still required. Buyers may either (1) provide a prepaid Canada Post shipping label to arrange their own shipping, or (2) have the item resold in a future auction, at which point the buyer becomes the consignor. PICKUP & SHIPPING: Pickup is scheduled for the immediately Saturday following the close of the auction. Please contact us promptly if alternate arrangements are required. Buyers are responsible for choosing pickup or delivery at the time of registration for an auction. Shipping is available within Canada where size and weight permit, with costs based on carrier rates (Canada Post or Courier). Shipping fees MUST be paid by credit card. While items are packed with care, Kidd Family Auctions is NOT responsible for damage during transit and cannot offer refunds on shipped items.
